Morning update from the doc't: He was encouraged again by the progress even from yesterday. Todays goal...continue to turn down the ventilator to see how he will breathe on his own. Prayer targets: of course continued prayer for the swelling, he needs to swallow his spit before he can breathe on his own, his hemoglobin blood level is low (from all the blood tests they draw)and there is talk of a blood transfusion for tomorrow (the doct was actually surprised we havent had to have one yet!) , pray for his eyes and hearing...thank you for not giving up in praying friends...pray without ceasing! Thank you jesus for your peace and healing! We love you.

I passed on your story to others also asking for prayers for your family. 8-20-2011 our two year son, Brayton Peldo, was also in Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls fighting for his life with Bacterial Spinal Meningitis. We know first hand the power of prayer as our son was not given much hope. He is our miracle and we are praying for a miracle for your son.

I have a 19 month old who is my whole world, I pray everyday for all of those mothers out there who are dealing with sick children. My heart goes out to you all!
